मैंने बहुत बार लोगो को ये पूछते हुए सुना है कि ” These और Those का प्रयोग कहाँ होता है? ” हालांकि ये बहुत हीं Basic English का एक पार्ट है पर मेरे दोस्तों यकीन मानो These और Those का प्रयोग आपको आना ही चाहिए।
पर इसको समझने के लिए पहले आपको “This और That के प्रयोग” पढ़ना होगा क्योंकि ये दोनों एक दूसरे से जुड़े हुए है।
These और Those का प्रयोग कहाँ होता है?
These – यह, ये
जिस तरह This का मतलब (यह,ये) होता है और ये Singular (एकवचन) के लिए प्रयोग होता है जो पास हो । These का मतलब भी (यह,ये) ही होता है और ये भी पास की वस्तुओं की बात करता है पर ये Plural (बहुवचन) के लिए प्रयोग होता है।
These का prayog भी subject(कर्ता), या Object (कर्म) के तौर पर होता है।
Example:
ये किताबे है।
These are Books.
यह तुम्हारे कलम है।
These are your Pens.
ये लड़के पागल हैं।
These boys are Crazy.
ऊपर के सभी वाक्यो से ये साफ पता चलता है कि किसी एक वस्तु की बात नही हो रही है बल्कि एक से ज्यादा वस्तुओ की बात हो रही है इसलिए यहां These का प्रयोग हुआ है वरना This का प्रयोग करते।
Those – वह, वो
जिस तरह That का मतलब (वह, वो) होता है और ये दूर की वस्तु को बताने के लिए प्रयोग होता है, और ये Singular (एकवचन) के लिए प्रयोग होता है।
Those का मतलब भी (वह, वो) होता है और ये भी दूर की वस्तुओ को point करने के लिए होता है पर ये Plural (बहुवचन) की बात करता है।
Example:
Those are T-Shirts.
(वो T-Shirts है।)
Those boys are Smart.
(वो लड़के smart हैं)
Those Coins are Worth less.
(वो सिक्के बेकार है)
ऊपर के वाक्यो से ये साफ जाहिर होता है कि एक से ज्यादा वस्तुओ की बात हो रही है जो दूर हैं।इसलिए यहां Those का प्रयोग हुआ है। वरना अगर एक यानी Singular होता तो That का प्रयोग करते।
