आज हम Present Tense का चौथा और आखिरी Part सीखने जा रहे है जिसे Present Perfect Continuous Tense कहते हैं।

Definition of Present Perfect Continuous Tense

Present Perfect Continuous Tense Definition in Hindi – क्रिया का वो रूप जिससे ये पता लगे की कोई कार्य पहले से हो रहा था और अभी भी जारी है तो उसे Present Perfect Continuous Tense कहते है।

पहचान – यदि किसी वाक्य के अंत मे कोई टाइम का जिक्र हो और उसके बाद रहा है, रही है, रहे है, रहे हो, रही हो, रहा हूँ, रही हूँ का प्रयोग हुआ हो , तो वो वाक्य Present Perfect Continuous Tense का है।

Important Points of Present Perfect Continuous Tense 

1. इस टेंस में सहायक क्रिया के तौर पर Have been और Has been का प्रयोग करते है।
2. Present perfect continuous tense में Verb में ing का प्रयोग होता है जिसे V4 भी कहते है।
3. इस Tense में Time से पहले Since तथा For का प्रयोग होता है।

Use of Since and For in Present Perfect Continuous Tense 

Since – Point in Time 

For – Period  of Time

Use of Since in Detail 

• Time (बजे)    Ex. Since 2 o’clock.
• Weeks Name   Ex.  Since Monday
• Months Name    Ex.  Since 2nd Dec
• Years Name    Ex.  Since 1995
• Morning, Afternoon, Evening, Night 
• Event/Festival    Ex. Since Diwali 
• States of life [ Childhood, Young, Any Age]
• Yesterday 

Use of For in Detail [It talks about Counting]

• Hours/Minutes/Seconds    Ex. For 2 hours 
• Days/Week/Months/Years   Ex. For Six days, For two weeks, For Five Months, For twelve years

Structures/Rules of Present Perfect Continuous Tense 

1. Affirmative Sentence 

Rule : Subject + have/has + been + v4 + Obj + Since/For + time.

He has been studying since 2 o’clock.
वह दो बजे से पढ़ रहा है
I have been cooking for an hour.
मैं एक घंटे से खाना बना रहा हूँ
They have been using Facebook for a week.
वे लोग एक हफ्ते से फेसबुक चला रहे है
Riya has been getting ready for 15 minutes.
रिया 15 मिनट्स से तैयार हो रही है
We have been learning English since 5th Nov 2019.
हम 5 नवंबर 2019 से अंग्रेजी सीख रहे है
She has been looking for you since the morning.
वो तुम्हे सुबह से ढूंढ़ रही है
You have been fixing the table fan for 2 days.
तुम दो दिनों से फैन बना रहे हो
I have been teaching since 2014.
मैं 2014 से पढ़ा रहा हूँ
He has been staring at me for 20 minutes.
वो 20 मिनट्स से मुझे घूरे जा रहा है
I have been trying to call her since yesterday.
मैं कल से उसे फ़ोन करने की कोशिश कर रहा हूँ

2. Negative Sentence 

Rule: Subject + have/has + not + been + v4 + object + since/for + time.

I have not been sleeping properly for the last three days.
मैं तीन दिनों से सही से सो नहीं रहा हूँ
She has not been going to the office since Monday.
वो सोमवार से ऑफिस नहीं जा रही है
Divya has not been talking to me since her birthday.
दिव्या अपने जन्मदिन से ही मुझसे बात नहीं कर रही है
You have not been coming online for a month.
आप एक महीने से ऑनलाइन नहीं आ रहे हो
We have not been parting for a week.
हम एक हफ्ते से पार्टी नहीं कर रहे है
They have not been fighting since 2019.
वो लोग 2019 से नहीं लड़ रहे है
We have not been meeting each other for 3 years.
हम तीन सालो से एक दूसरे से नहीं मिल रहे है
Rahul has not been eating non-veg for two weeks.
राहुल दो हफ्तों से नॉन वेज नहीं खा रहा है
You have not been supporting me for so long.
आप एक अरसे से मुझे सपोर्ट नहीं कर रहे हो
I have not been wearing T-shirts from Childhood.
मैं बचपन से टीशर्ट नहीं पहन रहा हूँ

3. Interrogative sentence 

Rule: Have/has + Subject + been + v4 + object + since/for + time + ?

Has he been sleeping since morning?
क्या वह सुबह से सो रहा है?
Have you been playing cricket since childhood?
क्या आप बचपन से क्रिकेट से खेल रहे हो?
Has he been pursuing you for 3 days?
क्या वो तीन दिनों से आपका पीछा कर रहा है?
Has she been getting ready for two hours?
क्या वो दो घंटे से तैयार हो रही है?
Have you been living in Delhi since 2001?
क्या आप 2001 से दिल्ली में रह रहे हो?
Has he been irritating you since morning?
क्या वो सुबह से आपको परेशान कर रहा है?
Have you been trying to call her for 15 minutes?
क्या आप 15 से उसे कॉल करने की कोशिश कर रहे हो?
Has she been cheating you for 5 years?
क्या वो आपको पांच सालो से धोखा दे रही है?
Have you been ignoring her for two weeks?
क्या आप दो हफ्तों से उसे नजरअंदाज कर रहे हो?
Has she been singing for 2 hours?
क्या वो दो घंटे से गाना गा रही है?

4. Interrogative negative sentence

Rule: Have/has + subject + not + been + v4 + object + since/for + time + ?

Have you not been taking a bath for a month?
क्या आप एक महीने से नहा नहीं रहे हो?
Has she not been cooking since Sunday?
क्या वो रविवार से खाना नहीं बना रही है?
Have they not been working for 3 years?
क्या वो लोग एक साल से काम नहीं कर रहे है?
Has she not been talking to you since Diwali?
