Use of Get in Hindi/ 7 तरीके से Get का प्रयोग

Get – मिलना/पाना

क्या मुझे आपका नंबर मिल सकता है?
Can I get your number?

इस महीने मुझे salary नही मिली।
I didn’t get the salary for this month.

मुझे क्या मिला?
What did I get?

वो मुझे रास्ते मे मिला।
I got him on the way.

मुझे आपसे बात करके कॉंफिडेंट मिलता है।
I get confident by talking to you.

आपको 20 हज़ार से ज्यादा नही मिलेंगे।
You won’t get more than twenty thousand.

राहुल को ट्रेन समय पर मिली।
Rahul got the train on time.

कुछ खाने के लिए मिल सकता है क्या?
Can I get something to eat?

एक दिन के लिए आपकी bike मिल सकती है क्या?
Can I get your bike for a day?

आप क्या पाना चाहते हो?
What do you want to get?

Get means समझना 

क्या आप समझ गए?
Did you get it?
Got it?

मुझे समझ नही आया।
I didn’t get it.

मैं समझ गया।
I got it.

मैं समझता हूं।
I get it.

वो समझ जाएगी।
She will get it.

Get means लाना

क्या आप मेरे लिए कॉफी ला सकते हो?
Can you get me a coffee?
Can you get a coffee for me?

वो पेन ला न।
Get me that pen please.

Baby के लिए एक doll ले आना।
Get a doll for the baby.

अब बताईये क्या लाऊं आपके लिए?
Now tell me, what can I get for you?

कल वो मेरे लिए एक गिफ्ट लाया था।
He got me a gift yesterday.

जाओ और वो गेंद लाओ।
Go and get that ball.

आप मेरे लिए क्या लाये हो?
What have you got for me?

Get means होना

मैं late हो रहा हूँ।
I am getting late.

आप confuse क्यों हो रहे हो?
Why are you getting confused?

चाय ठंडी हो चुकी है।
The tea has got cold

अब ये personal हो रहा है।
Now it’s getting personal.

वो काफी excited हो रहा था।
He was getting very excited.

वो बूढा हो रहा है।
He is getting old.

ठंड हो रही है।
It’s getting cold.

Get means पहुचना

मैं 9 बजे तक घर पहुँच जाता हूं।
I get home by 9 o’clock.

क्या आप वहां पहुँच गए? 
Did you get there?

आप office कब पहुँचे?
When did you get to the office?

मैं station देर से पहुँचा था।
I got to the station late.

आपको एयरपोर्ट पहुँचने में कितना time लगेगा?
How long will you take to get to the Airport?

अभी तक वो घर क्यों नही पहुँची?
Why didn’t she get home yet?

“Get” as a Causative Verb

“Get” as a Causative verb में जो subject होता है वो किसी काम को नही करता बल्कि किसी से करवाता है। इसलिए यहां Verb की 3rd form का प्रयोग होता है।

For Example

मैंने एक घर बनवाया।

एक घर कभी मालिक नही बनाता, क्योंकि ये सारा काम जैसे इट, सीमेंट, या सफेदी वो किसी और से करवाता है और उनको पैसे देता है। यानी वो उस काम को करता नही बल्कि करवाता है।

I built a house. ( गलत है)
I got a house built. (सही है)

अपने बाल कटवा लो।
Get your hair Cut.

कल मैंने अपनी bike धुलवाई थी।
I got my bike washed yesterday.

उसने मुझे पिटवाया था।
He got me beaten.

आपने घर की मरम्मत कब करवाई?
When did you get the house renovated?

Note: यदि किसी काम में subject involve हो वो भी directly तो वहाँ Get की जगह Make का प्रयोग होता है।

For Example

राम ने मुझे रुलाया।

यहां राम खुद है रुलाने वाला उसने रुलाने के लिए किसी और को नही कहा न पैसे दिए। वो यहां direct involve है।

Ram got me cry. ( गलत है)
Ram made me cry. ( सही है)

हमने उसे समझाया।
We made him understand.

उसने मुझे हसाया।
He made me laugh.

वो मुझे दौड़ाता है।
He makes me run.
